It has no metal in it, so it won’t interfere with ABS sensors. It is non-sticky, so it won’t collect dirt. It eliminates brake squeal. It is safer and more effective than copper slip for brake components.
Copper slip has been used for a long time for brake calipers and pads, but it can damage ABS sensors and cause corrosion between steel and aluminium parts. Mintex Ceratec is a better choice because it has no metal and it can handle higher temperatures.
You should apply Ceratec on the parts where the pad touches the caliper slide, the caliper sliding pins, and the pad back where it meets the piston. This will ensure smooth and quiet braking.
