About Us
Founded shortly after the end of World War 2, Automotive Parts Distribution - APD - started life as an independent brake re-lining specialist serving commercial vehicle customers in the city of Bath. Over the past century our company has adapted and evolved to the changing market trends and demands for petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles. Throughout that time APD has remained an independent, family run business whose focus is on quality product and great service at affordable prices. Over the years we have grown and evolved and added sites in strategic locations in the North, East and South West of the UK.
APD now have 4 key divisions within the business:
- Car Parts
- Oils and Lubricants
- Tools and Gas Bottles
- Mot Workshop and Diagnostic Equipment
We operate in all customer segments: Retail shops, Business to Consumer Click and Collect locations. Click on line delivery service, Business to Business UK and Export services.
APD sell over 1 million car parts to over 100,000 customers each year. We have a team of people dedicated to shipping 500+ small parcels each day to online consumers through our websites and eBay shops. We use our own fleet of 90+ vans to distribute hourly to our local garage customers varied demands for car, van and truck part requirements. Our aim is to assist our customers in getting their vehicles off the ramp and onto the road. Each day we export bulk car, van and truck parts to our network of distributors throughout Europe and the World.
